Archontophoenix cunninghamiana – commonly known as Bangalow palm, king palm, Illawara palm or piccabeen palm – is a tree in the palm family Arecaceae, which is endemic to the east coast of New South Wales and Queensland.
A tough, fast-growing native palm with a dense crown of deep green, feathery fronds and a thin, smooth grey trunk. Ideal position: Likes part shade and can tolerate light frost.
