Correa reflexa 'Jetty Red' 

A selected compact form of Correa reflexa, this plant produces striking bright red shaped flowers from autumn and continues through to spring. Excellent for use as a garden border, rockery plant, specimen pot plant or as low level planting to brighten up shady areas in the garden. 

Grows well in both a semi-shaded site and full sun. It is adaptable to most well drained soils and it is excellent to use in coastal gardens. This plant is suitable for temperate climates, and once this plant is established it will tolerate dry conditions. 

This small shrub requires little maintenance other than a tip prune to promote a more compact plant. It is best to initially feed with a slow release low phosphorus fertiliser to help establish the plant. It is beneficial to follow up with the occasional reapplication of fertiliser and apply as required. Mulching around the base of the plant will help retain moisture and suppress weeds.
