Soleirolia Baby Tears 130mm

A mat forming perennial, Soleirolia Baby’s Tears (Soleirolia soleiirolii) is a low maintenace moss like evergreen ground cover with tiny emerald green leaves. This beautiful spreading plant has a multitude of uses; from brightening up terrariums and indoor pots to growing in cracks between rocks and on pathways, and can even be used for a lawn alternative in shaded damp places where it will cope with occasional light foot traffic.

Preferring a shaded position, Baby’s Tears will cope with a sunny spot, so long as it is regularly watered or the mat will not grow and look it’s very best but it does prefer a damp to moist shaded position.
